About us

Dermatologists around the world are warning people to be more aware and alert of the risk of skin cancer. Skin cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer, yet new data shows Americans aren’t “practicing safe sun.” In a recent survey, the American Academy of Dermatology found only half of Americans always or almost always protect themselves from the sun when they’re outside—increasing their risk for skin cancer, including melanoma. “Nearly 20 Americans die from melanoma every day,” said board-certified dermatologist George J. Hruza, MD, MBA, FAAD, president of the AAD. “Exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays is the most preventable risk factor for skin cancer, and there are many simple things you can do to protect yourself from the sun.”

2023 Innovative skin care tool to apply lotion: The Bag-A-Rub

We are two Dutch entrepreneurs who wanted to help create this awareness of the general public and also assist with a handy tool to protect yourself from damage to your skin. We invented the Bag-A-Rub, a tool which was developed in collaboration with the Technical University Twente in the Netherlands.

The Bag-A-Rub will help you to – independently from other people – to evenly put lotion on your back with the ingenious system that allows you to dosage the amount of lotion and evenly spread this so that all of your back is covered with protection.

The Bag-A-Rub is also a very good tool for people with skin problems like Psoriasis or Eczema to look after their own skin.

Elderly people are much helped with the Bag-A-Rub as it is easier for them to reach harder to reach places like the back of the legs, the back and under the feet.

Bag-A-Rub is a patented trade mark and design. Single Sun is a working title and can be adjusted to your
